Kanazawa Tourist Information Center at JR Kanazawa Station

KGGN provides a variety of information for tourists. Volunteer staff at the counter welcomes foreign visitors as well as foreigners living in and around the city.
KGGN offers information about Kanazawa sightseeing spots, public transportation, shopping, restaurants, souvenirs and lodging.
KGGN has information available about other regions in Ishikawa prefecture -- such as Kaga and Noto.
There is information available for sightseeing spots in neighboring prefectures as well: Tateyama, Shirakawago, Takayama, and Eihei-ji Temple.

Guided Tours in Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden

Our volunteer staff is stationed at the information booth near Ishikawa-mon gate in Kanazawa Castle Park ready to introduce tourists from abroad to Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden.
The Maeda family, who governed the Kaga Clan for more than 280 years, resided in Kanazawa Castle. The park opened in 2001 after the castle was restored.
Kenrokuen Garden is one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan.
We have maps of Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden, city maps, and sight-seeing brochures available to visitors so that they may enjoy their visit to Kanazawa.
Also, our volunteer staff is stationed at the Gyokusen'an Rest House in restored Gyokusen'inmaru Garden to offer free information about the garden and other nearby visitor destinations.

Guided Tours in Kanazawa City

KGGN offers free sightseeing guide service for tourists from abroad. With 400 years of history, Kanazawa is one of Japan’s most authentic castle towns. We give tourists a full, rounded experience in Kanazawa - tourists will be guided through historic areas, shown traditional arts such as Kutani pottery, Kinpaku (gold leaf), Kaga Yuzen Silk Dying and tourists will be introduced to some cultural arts like tea ceremony and Noh theater.
You can arrange your own course with your favolite spots, like Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle Park, Higashi Chaya Geisha District , Naga-machi Samurai District and Omicho Market,etc.
